VZ Navigator provides the features of an advanced navigation system on your mobile phone at a fraction of the price of expensive GPS devices and systems. VZ Navigator provides: heads-up, voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions with auto-rerouting if you miss a turn; local search of nearly fourteen million points of interest (POIs) in the U.S.A.; and detailed color maps that can be quickly panned and zoomed. With VZ Navigator you will always know where you are, what's near you, and how to get there.
- VZ Navigator website companion enables you to search and map places on your PC, and to send the results to your phone. Visit www.vznavigator.com.
- Place Messaging* allows you to share any location, such as meeting places, with other VZ Navigator subscribers, so that they can navigate to or map those places by a single click. Non VZ Navigator subscribers will receive the message as a standard text message.
- Synchronization of 'My Places' keeps your Recent Searches and Favorites up-to-date whether you are using the VZ Navigator mobile application or the website.
- VZ Navigator can be set to Spanish, where all screens and navigation announcements will be presented in Spanish.
- Over-the-Air software upgrade notification informs you when newer versions are available and let you initiate the upgrade by a single click.
